Qigong is an ancient healing and martial art born approximately 5000 years ago in the Wudang Mountains of China. This meditative body-mind-spirit practice uses movement, form and breathing techniques to heal the body, increase peace of mind, and expand one’s connection to Spirit and Earth.
Qigong translates as “lifeforce cultivation.” The purpose of this practice is to restore balance and harmony to your body’s energy system. Yin and yang are polarities—earth energy and cosmic energy. When these two energies are in balance, that is when we are at our absolute healthiest.
